111 before text message

Some time ago - in the good old Fido days - I used to put 111 in front of
the text in an SMS message in order to get a confirmation of delivery. It
doesnt seem to work any longer, what happened?

Try this. Add *r* where you used the 111 I use it and it works for
me. I read somewhere that it's a Rogers code but now it also works with
Fido.

That worked - thanks. The message was correctly received and the
confirmation message shortly after that text was read.
